It
was the look of the Springer that first attracted me to the breed.
All their other great attributes are what sold me on this wonderful
breed. My interests lie in producing Springers for conformation,
obedience, tracking, weekend/casual bird hunting, but first and
foremost, to be loving companions and pets.
As a breeder, I
believe in producing dogs according to the breed standard while
keeping in mind the breed's original purpose. I love the Sporting
Dogs because they were bred to work with man. In order to do their
job they also had to be a bit of an independent worker to find the
birds (requiring a good nose), to flush or spring the birds, and to
also retrieve to their master.
All of this work required
first and foremost a dog that was amenable to mans orders, smart
enough to carry them out, a sound body and mind and to have the
breed instinct that made all this possible. I still try to keep that
instinct alive in my line.

(Quaid)
We are located in the Caribou Region of British Columbia,
Canada, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Surrounded by
rolling hills and large cattle ranches, nestled on the edge of a
lovely lake, our dogs get to hike and swim in their own
backyard.
The town of Lac La Hache lies on the shores of its
namesake lake, Lac La Hache,
25 km/18 mi north of 100 Mile House on
Highway 97. It's known as the "Longest Town in the
Caribou."
